Epitaph chapter 1

With many thanks to Bomberman over at Sugooi Scans, here's the first chapter of Epitaph.

It's a rather cute story about two girls who act as "undertakers," delivering final messages from people who have passed on. Of course, things aren't quite as simple as just that, but I'm too tired to think up a proper series description right now. ^_^;;

The series runs quarterly in Yuri Hime magazine, and has seven chapters at the moment(I have raws for the first six). I'm plodding along with translating them, so they should all be out before long.

Embalming: The Another Tale of Frankenstein: Chapter 8

Here we go, the long-awaited eighth chapter of Embalming.

Many thanks to Kratos Wright for cleaning the initial raws, and Emba for editing. You guys rock.

...I still can't seem to find chapter nine anywhere, so I might wind up skipping ahead to chapter ten and getting to nine later... fortunately, it's just a battle and not important story things. Still sucks that I can't find it anywhere, though.

If it comes to that, I'll order the issue of Jump SQ where chapter nine was printed and scan the damned thing in myself. Because much like Uncassandra, this series is too good to just leave alone.

...and as always, check out my previous post if you're interested in maybe helping me get some other series out.

Horobi no Michi wants you!

I translate rather quickly, but I needs staff in order to actually get things out... so any help from those Photoshop-users out there with some free time to spare would be appreciated.

Here's more or less a repost from my thread over at Mangahelpers, with the series I'm either interested in translating, or am sitting on scripts for right now.

Drop me a line in the comments here, in my thread at Mangahelpers, or email me at horobinomichi at gmail dot com if you're interested.

Twinkle Saber Nova:
Currently running, has two volumes at the moment.

It's a magical girl series by Fujieda Miyabi. Very nice all-around, and I like this one quite a bit.
It also has subtextual yuri, for those who might be interested in such things. >_>;;

Raw volume one

Seigi Kenkyuukai Serenade, by Yokoyama Naoki:

In response to signs of an impending invasion by alien conquerors, five young people have undergone modification surgery in order to gain the strength to fight them off when they arrive...

...but there's been no sign of them since the initial warning message ten years ago.

So in the meantime, the hero of justice Serena and her teammate/lackey/punching bag Souya have been using their powers to protect the weak and destroy evil wherever it looms its head...

...and when they're not doing that, Serena's trying to pick up chicks. And Souya's fiddling arond with his anime figures.

But with the sudden return of their childhood friend, things are in for a change...

...or maybe not.

Kano loves Serena, Hakase loves Serena and Kano, Serena loves all women... and Souya likes to watch. Yeah, this is action comedy manga, with heavy yuri overtones. I find it hilarious, but I'm also a huge toku fan, so...

Raw volume 1

There's also several other series I'd like to work on... Saint October, Moetan, Kokoro Toshokan and/or anything else that Takagi Nobuyuki has done... but I don't actually have scans for them so that's another hurdle there.

Thanks in advance to any kind soul who decides to help me out...

Uncassandra Break 5

Another day, another chapter of Uncassandra...

...actually, this is the last one until Rena-chan decides to scan some more. ^_^;;

Another nice chapter, it has Banjou saving the day in a most manly and awesome fashion. He really is deserving of that name... bwahaha.

Uncassandra Break 4

...and here we go, my first major release.

This series is really good, and I highly reccommend it... this chapter contains the first appearance of Banjou and Bekku's opponent, a fellow who is quite insane.

Much fun to be had all around.  o/

And many thanks to Page, for introducing me to this fine series and also doing the editing.  :>

Hibusou Shinki 0-10

This is the series that more or less started this group of mine...

It's a gag manga series about Konami's toyline "Busou Shinki." As such, a lot of the jokes might go over your heads... eheh.

After "Chapter Zero," my friend Morino began to offer his services in looking over my scripts before I edited in the text, as my English has slowly been deteriorating over time.

It's released one page a week and 10 is the most current one, so it might be a little while before I decide it's worth it to translate another batch of them.

Series what Zenigame needs help with...

I pretty much always need help with some series or other... here's a short list of the ones that I'm actively looking for typesetting-type editorness for.

If you're interested, email me at horobinomichi at gmail dot com.

Shiharu Genesis, by Kondoh Rururu

It's the happy fun-times moepocalypse story, but my editor for it seems to have vanished. As such, a new challenger is needed if I'm to continue with this series.

L-size Little Sister, by Yokoshima Takemaru

I haven't had much luck with this one... the fellows over at Sugooi seem to be having trouble or something, so a replacement editor's needed for the sister love story.

Gosick, by Sakuraba Kazuki and Amano Sakuya

This is the story of Kazuma, a Japanese boy who is going to a transfer school in the fictional European country of Sauveur during the early 1900s.

It's a nice mystery series, with very good art... magazine scans for the first two chapters are up on Share, but they dried up after that... however, I bought the volume for the sole purpose of having access to raws past that point.

But as always, I need an editor to actually do anything substantial. :/

滅びの道とは…

Essentially, Horobi no Michi is a scanlation group consisting of me (translator/master of creation) and whoever feels like typesetting or cleaning or editing or whatever because I usually don't feel like doing that stuff myself.  (and I only have Paint, so I'm kind of limited there.)

Basically, I'll translate something if it catches my eye and nobody else is working on it. If there's something you think I'll be interested in doing, feel free to tell me. You just might get lucky. Bwahaha.

I started out doing the gag manga "Hibusou Shinki" because I said I would if I ever got proper scans, and wound up branching out to Embalming because I got pissed that nobody had released anything for it in months.

And then I picked up a few other series because I'm stupid like that.

For those hoping to get me to translate something, my main interests are shounen/seinen fighting manga, cute moe things and mecha. I don't limit myself to just them, but those are my main three interests.

...and back to work for me. BRAVO!

Testing...

...nothing to see here...
