Sorry about the lack of updates over the past few weeks. There's been a lot of construction going on over here, both outside and inside, that's resulted in a lot of interference in my ability to get much of anything done.

Because of this crap, my connection is also kind of completely unreliable at the moment, so my ability to answer emails and comments and whatever is rather limited.

Interior construction is supposed to be done on Friday, but then there's painting and assorted other BS to finish up so it'll probably be around next Monday that things are back to normal.

Sorry about the inconvenience, blahblahblah.

Rakka Ryuusui 15

Ended up learning quite a bit while translating this one, some of it being things that I'd much rather not have known. (Seriously, look up hairworms. They're horrific.)

Among other things, everything around me seems to be breaking and I'm also trying to thwart my mother's best efforts to murder my sunflowers.

But no matter, I intend to actually get shit done this week.

This year's Anime North loot. One guess as to who my favorite Touhou character is.

Yuri panels were pretty good, and the Touhou panel was GREAT... a lot of the other stuff I went to was pretty meh, though. :/

But it was still fun overall, and now I can focus my funds on finally getting a new powersupply to rectify this mass of masking tape before it ends up burning my house down.


In other news, Shitsuji Shoujo to Ojousama 9 is only a few pages away from being finished, and Shiharu Genesis 5 will be posted later tonight after I check it over again.

...it's like the world hates my computer or something.

So when I went to switch Gospel on this morning... it wouldn't.

Barely a week after it recovered from last week's idiocy, too. >_<

Cue a day filled with me digging around in computer parts and praying that it wasn't a motherboard failure.

But software is my specialty, not hardware, so I had a guy I know come over and check it out... and it turns out that the problem was with my piece of crap power supply instead.

So now I have this ghetto rig until I scrape up enough money to buy a new one... might be a while since Anime North is at the end of the month.

But yeah. Business as usual, but don't be surprised if I disappear for a little while due to a masking tape failure-induced explosion or whatever.

For those who were wondering, Tama to Tama to ended serialization last August. However, it's a keitai manga and the publisher has yet to put out a proper volume so I have no way to even read the thing, much less translate it. :/

As for Mondlicht, that'll be done once I get the volumes in.

Technical Difficulties

Gospel, my desktop, is completely borked and has to be reformatted thanks to my mother.

I'm posting this from Chikage, my laptop.

It's going to take quite a while to back up Gospel's 500GB hard drive, so it's going to be out of commission for at least two or three days, if not more. (I am busy throughout this weekend.)

And when I get back from my business, my mother is going to usurp Chikage in order to do her taxes.

As such, things will be delayed for a bit. Shitsuji Shoujo should be fine since that script is almost done and I keep all my in-progress stuff on a USB drive, but yeah. Anything past that may be a while.

But I'll do my best to get this crap cleared up as soon as possible.

I'm currently (slowly) working off my backlog, and intend to have the next Shitsuji Shoujo script done by tomorrow night at the absolute latest. Then is finally moving on to Rakka Ryuusui and finishing off that chapter of L-size Little Sister.

And Dolor's just come through with some nice raws for Twinkle Saber Nova, and I've gotten several people offering to take up editing for Shiharu Genesis, so things are looking up.

Sorry for the lack of anything since the new year started, but real life has been a steaming pile of crap lately on account of various things that should not affect me but end up doing so anyways.

It's kind of settled for the time being, but the sore throat I have right now probably signifies the one time a year that I get really sick...

...but barring illness, I intend to get at least one script out by Monday. Transistor Teaset 8 is about halfway done, and then I can worry about Shitsuji Shoujo and the rest of the stuff I need to finish.

2011... kind of weird to think that I've been doing this since 2008.

But anyways, here's hoping that the new year will be a good one, and I'll try my best to keep the Lazy from creeping up on me too badly.
