Shiharu Genesis 4

The moepocalypse continues...

Here's the fourth chapter of Shiharu Genesis, courtesy of Serafer.

Mediafire Megaupload

And yes, I know the credit page lists the wrong number.

As for my jury hell, that's officially over with since my family connections made the defendants reeally not want me on the jury. Gohoho.

But I still had an entire day shot to hell, and I'm dead tired on top of that. So yay getting completely thrown off-track. >_<

...and now I'm going to go die for about fifteen hours or so. ._.

Thx for the release. Btw, what did your family do to make the defendants want to avoid having you on the jury?

You're not mob related are you? Forgetaboutit.

Thanks. I cannot help it and take a peek at the raws on mangahelpers, around chapter 20th or so, things get really interesting but I cannot find takoubon raws for vol2,3,4,5, good luck.

man, what about hekikai no aion? please, let me get calm by at least telling me how is the progress of this manga. Will you release it soon?

Is that really possible? I mean, skipping out on jury duty? In principle, the defendant shouldn't actually have an influence on jury selection, should they?

Um, guys...
I'm pretty sure what Zenigame means by 'family connections' isn't "My family pulled some strings"... :)

Probably something along the lines of the defendant feeling that something that the juror may not be fair towards the defendant maybe because there's a family relation to the plaintiff, or whatever other reason.

@André:
I'll be doing something with that soon.

@Everyone else:
To put it vaguely, the defendants heard who I was related to and immediately went "DO NOT WANT." I'm not mafia-related, pretty much the opposite actually. >_>;;

このゼニガメが滅びの道を歩む人なら、うちの母親は正義の道を歩む人だ。

Wow, I guess I need to study law a bit more. I didn't know defendants could just say "I don't want this guy".

I read too quickly and assumed defendant was the prosecuter, so if it was the other way around, then my joke would have been funny ^^ anyway, both the defender and prosecuter can choose the jury, if you really really wanna know how it works, watch or read "Runaway Jury", which is a pretty good movie, haven't read the book.

That's right. During the jury selection, you're asked about your background, relatives, job, etc. Both the lawyer and the prosecutor make a list of potentials, and they come to an eventual agreement with the judge's mediation.

Another thing the judge asked was "What sort of bumper stickers do you have?" I happened to have a "Got Anime?" bumper sticker at the time, and had to explain to an audience of Alabamians much older than me just what "anime" was... -_-;;

Anyway, sounds like you're related to law enforcement, at a guess. Congrats, you'll probably never be picked the rest of your life. :P

Hey Zeni, I hope doing something about Aion means doing it with us. I sent you an email a while ago, hope you got it.
