Rosehip Diary 2

Here's what I'm assuming will be the last update before Christmas, the second chapter of Rosehip Diary.

Credit goes to Sohma for the lovely editing job.

...and just a reminder, this series is smut-tastic and as such is not for the little kiddies.

And a random note, I bought the first volume of Suzunari the other day. It is hilarious and everyone should check it out.

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 5.5

...chapter 5.5...

...huh?

What's that?

"Continuity?" "Plot resolution?" None of that here, but you do get more of Creo being a pervert. Bwahaha. o/

With this, I've officially run out of chapters unless someone out there has scans for issue 14 of Yuri Hime. I'm really surprised that it's been so long since the magazine's been out, but there's still nothing... :/

But yeah. Many thanks to ShiroAka for the ultrafast editing. It'll be kind of weird not translating a new chapter of this series every few days... it's pretty much become a routine for me.

...guess I'll switch to another series now...

Deus Ex Machina 3

And here's chapter three...

...in which we have a strange cross between a Dom and a train. Oh, and there's a talking pumpkin too. o/

With this, I've gone through half of the currently-available chapters.

Deus Ex Machina 2

And as another example of Zenigame's less-than-stellar editing abilities, here's the second chapter of Deus Ex Machina.

In which we have Machina being a cold bitch, CLOCKWORK ROBOT BATTLES, and the first instance of their catchphrase.

Mediafire Megaupload

...in other news, I found through some poking that Uncassandra ended(unfortunately). The second tankoubon will be coming out at the beginning of January, so I'll be scanning it in myself if Rena-chan still hasn't posted the raws by then.

Deus Ex Machina 1

And now for something different...

...here's the first chapter of Deus Ex Machina, by Karasuma Wataru. It's not yuri, but I happen to like robots.

A lot.

And broken robots in particular.

And twintails.

...yeah, I'm strange.

Didn't have an editor for this one, so I decided to do it myself yesterday during a period of time where I did not feel like breaking my brain over more manga scripts. If anyone out there who happens to take a liking to this series decides to volunteer to edit so I don't have to do it myself, that would be Super Appreciated.

Time I spend editing is time that I could be using to translate more scripts, after all...

...anyways, check it out. You might like it.

Mediafire Megaupload

...currently translating chapter 5.5 of Gurenki, and after that I think I'll finish off Epitaph 4... so there's something to look forward for all you yuri-only fans.

Epitaph Letter 3

A rival has appeared!

...and so at long last, here's Epitaph 3. I'm only a few pages away from finishing off 4, so it shouldn't be too long. I hope.

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 5

Chapter five...

...in which I look at Creo and my brain-Zenigame screams out "UTENAAA!!!"

One more chapter left(5.5) until I run out of scans for this series... it kind of sucks, but one can hope that issue 14 of Yuri Hime will magically appear and resolve the AAGH CLIFFHANGER.

Mediafire

Still waiting on Epitaph 3, by the way. Suppose I'm going to have to turn on Nag Mode...

...in other news, I decided to pick up two recent series which I'm loking for editors to help out with- Saitama Chainsaw Girl and Deus Ex-Machina. Info, raws and whatnots are in the "More Help Wanted" link on the sidebar.

I want to release Deus Ex-Machina in particular, so I'd reeeally appreciate any editing help there... I'll be your best friend? Pwease? :3c

...and as a final note, thanks to everyone who's helped through shameless site-plugging to push my counter past 20,000 hits. Monday was the most hits I've ever gotten in the history of ever, and every day since then's gotten as much as release days used to get. Many thanks to Lililicious in particular, as a large percentage came from them. o/

Kämpfer 1

This one here's a triple joint with SCX and NCIS...

...pretty different from the usual, but it is interesting enough... and it's from the artist of Mondlicht, which pretty much guarantees that the pictures will be nice.

I kind of OCD-ed and joined the spreads together... otherwise, it's the same file as from the others. o/

Mediafire

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 4

Here's chapter four of Gurenki... in which we get a fight scene, some angsting, and Creo being a pervert.

Oh, and some actual story progression too. :>

Mediafire

...in other news, I was poking through Yuri na Hibi for possible titles I might want to check out in the future... and noticed that they had Hitsugi Katsugi no Kuro listed with a yuri rating of 2/5. Now, the title is Super Awesome and everyone should buy it(I'm serious), but I've read two volumes and there's absolutely zero yuri to be seen, even with my yuri goggles at maximum power.

So yeah, confusion. ._.;;

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 3

And so, we have another chapter... this one introduces my favorite character to the story.

And as usual, thanks to ShiroAka for editing.

Mediafire

In other news, Epitaph 3 should be out within the next day or so... hopefully.

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 2

Faster than a shinkansen...

...and so, in just three short days, here's chapter two of Gurenki. Once again, many thanks go to ShiroAka for editing.

In this one, we get some actual background... though I've read six chapters of this and I still have no real idea where it's going. o/

But it's amusing and the art's really good so I'm not complaining.

Mediafire

...just a heads up, chapter three might take a little while. Taking down and translating the crazy amount of text in this series is kind of really draining. :/

However, Zenigame shall perservere~

Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises- 1

Say what? Two releases in the same day!?

...yeah, I was shocked too. Certainly not complaining, though. o/

Anyways, here's the first chapter of Gurenki -Creo the Crimson Crises-, by Takewakamaru. Copy/pasting my initial random summary since it's pretty much a perfect description...

Suou is just a normal highschool student. One night, she dreams about a red-haired demon girl... who shows up the next day in the middle of class and "claims" her as her property.

Editingness is courtesy of ShiroAka, who is both insanely skilled and insanely fast. (seriously, I had to wait all of two days.) You rock.

Mediafire

You might have noticed a steady increase in the number of things in the "now printing" section... that is because of all the kind people who have volunteered to edit for me. Thanks, everyone~

...I feel like Luffy right now, recruiting peoples every which way... >_>;;

And to those who are wondering where the hell Epitaph 3 is, the editing fellow over at Sugooi is currently dealing with some annoying matters that really take precedence over manga. It's still on the way, though.

Rosehip Diary 1

Sorry for the general slowness, but here's something new...

...the first chapter of the short series "Rosehip Diary, by Oshima Towa.

Rather high on the smut scale, so I guess it gets an 18+ warning or whatever. It's a yuri story about members of a certain school's gymnastics club... and their "extracurricular activities," so to speak.

As usual, a better description is to come.

Mediafire

And now, some random announcements...

...I've been completely taken with Watanabe Wataru's "Majimoji Rurumo," and have already translated two chapters of it... I've updated the help wanted post on the sidebar, so check it out if anyone out there is interested in editing.

...and also, let me take the opportunity to delare that I reeeeeeally do not like Mangahelpers' new layout. It's all kinds of graah.

EDIT:
Reuploaded the file with the missing page added. Sorry about that.

Mondlicht 1

...and after too damned long without a release, here's a new series.

Many thanks to Spyfoxgirl17 for your speedy editing assistance. Couldn't have done it without you. o/

Mondlicht: Tsuki no Tsubasa is the story of a group of vampires who are being hunted down by the creations of Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The twist here is that the vampires want nothing more than to be left alone and do their best to not kill anyone... and Frankenstein's creations are all in the form of attractive psychogirls of varying ages.

And in keeping with most of what I've released here, girl's love starts to rear its head in later chapters.

I'l write up a better summary later, but that should do for now... anyways, check it out.

Mediafire

Epitaph 3 should be out within the next couple of days, and the other stuff on the "now printing" part of the sidebar will be out whenever the editing-type peoples get them to me.

Karakasa no Saien 1

Well, here's the first chapter of Karakasa no Saien, a joint with SCX-scans. It's the story of Ibusuki Rokusuke, a fellow who's trying to escape from a girl who is quite literally crazy for him... and winds up being forced to put up with something even worse.

It's funny, and also kind of disturbing. I'm about 1/3 done with the second chapter's script... so more is on the horizon.

Mediafire

In other news, I finished off Embalming 10 so that's in the works... and a kind person by the name of Liirin decided to take up editing Fairial Garden, so there's another upcoming release.

And Epitaph 3 is still in the editing phase.

So that's three chapters that should be out soon... I also finished the first chapter of Araki Kanao's "Yume Mitaina Hoshi Mitaina," which still needs an editor. It's a manga set in an all-girls' school... nothing super blatant in the first chapter, but yuri levels increase over time.

In any event, it's cute and that's why I decided to take it up. Many thanks to Erin for bringing it to my atention. o/

And finally, I picked up the first volume of Hayate Cross Blade yesterday... it's funny as hell and everyone should buy it.

Translatery status...

...well, it seems that some of you out there are curious as to the status of the various crap I have going on right now... so here's an overall rundown.

Finished chapter one of Karakasa no Saien, which I'm doing as a joint(I guess) with SCX-scans. Strange/amusing story, though it's another quarterly one which makes a Zenigame go GRAAAAAAAH. (especially after the end of chapter three, me NEEDS to find out what happens next...)
Full thing to be released whenever the editing's done.

About halfway done with the first chapter of Rosehip Diary. That'll be finshed when it's finished, probably pretty soon.

Translated the first chapter of Mondlicht within a few hours of learning of its existence... actiony fanservicey manga with yuri overtones(more so in the second volume), check out the "more help wanted" link on the sidebar (or look four posts down) if anyone out there's interested in editing.

Finished chapter 3 of Epitaph the day after posting chapter 2... so that should be out before too long.

Currently putting off doing a oneshot manga as a competency test what for maybe helping out with them peoples who are doing The World God Only Knows if they need someone... part of me wants to say whatever, but I am a player of eroge, and that title calls to me. (lol zenigame stupid)

More Uncassandra to come whenever Rena-chan decides to scan in the latest chapters.

And I'm working on Embalming 10 right now, so enough with the nagging.

...and there you go~

Epitaph chapter 2

Alright, the editorpeoples over at Sugooi finally finished, so chapter two of Epitaph is finally released.

The story starts to pick up here, as we learn a bit more about Towa... and the yuri level also rises. Always a good thing. o/

I would say that chapter three would be out right away, but I've yet to start translating the script. Maybe tomorrow, I don't know. ^_^;;

In the meantime, there's still that list over on the sidebar of manga scripts that are done and just waiting for an editor to lend a hand... if you're interested, drop me a line at Mangahelpers, or email me at horibinomichi at gmail dot com. (ololol i made an email account)

As for Epitaph, here's the download link. Megaupload to come along eventually.

Epitaph chapter 1

With many thanks to Bomberman over at Sugooi Scans, here's the first chapter of Epitaph.

It's a rather cute story about two girls who act as "undertakers," delivering final messages from people who have passed on. Of course, things aren't quite as simple as just that, but I'm too tired to think up a proper series description right now. ^_^;;

The series runs quarterly in Yuri Hime magazine, and has seven chapters at the moment(I have raws for the first six). I'm plodding along with translating them, so they should all be out before long.

Embalming: The Another Tale of Frankenstein: Chapter 8

Here we go, the long-awaited eighth chapter of Embalming.

Many thanks to Kratos Wright for cleaning the initial raws, and Emba for editing. You guys rock.

...I still can't seem to find chapter nine anywhere, so I might wind up skipping ahead to chapter ten and getting to nine later... fortunately, it's just a battle and not important story things. Still sucks that I can't find it anywhere, though.

If it comes to that, I'll order the issue of Jump SQ where chapter nine was printed and scan the damned thing in myself. Because much like Uncassandra, this series is too good to just leave alone.

...and as always, check out my previous post if you're interested in maybe helping me get some other series out.

Horobi no Michi wants you!

I translate rather quickly, but I needs staff in order to actually get things out... so any help from those Photoshop-users out there with some free time to spare would be appreciated.

Here's more or less a repost from my thread over at Mangahelpers, with the series I'm either interested in translating, or am sitting on scripts for right now.

Drop me a line in the comments here, in my thread at Mangahelpers, or email me at horobinomichi at gmail dot com if you're interested.

Twinkle Saber Nova:
Currently running, has two volumes at the moment.

It's a magical girl series by Fujieda Miyabi. Very nice all-around, and I like this one quite a bit.
It also has subtextual yuri, for those who might be interested in such things. >_>;;

Raw volume one

Seigi Kenkyuukai Serenade, by Yokoyama Naoki:

In response to signs of an impending invasion by alien conquerors, five young people have undergone modification surgery in order to gain the strength to fight them off when they arrive...

...but there's been no sign of them since the initial warning message ten years ago.

So in the meantime, the hero of justice Serena and her teammate/lackey/punching bag Souya have been using their powers to protect the weak and destroy evil wherever it looms its head...

...and when they're not doing that, Serena's trying to pick up chicks. And Souya's fiddling arond with his anime figures.

But with the sudden return of their childhood friend, things are in for a change...

...or maybe not.

Kano loves Serena, Hakase loves Serena and Kano, Serena loves all women... and Souya likes to watch. Yeah, this is action comedy manga, with heavy yuri overtones. I find it hilarious, but I'm also a huge toku fan, so...

Raw volume 1

There's also several other series I'd like to work on... Saint October, Moetan, Kokoro Toshokan and/or anything else that Takagi Nobuyuki has done... but I don't actually have scans for them so that's another hurdle there.

Thanks in advance to any kind soul who decides to help me out...

Uncassandra Break 5

Another day, another chapter of Uncassandra...

...actually, this is the last one until Rena-chan decides to scan some more. ^_^;;

Another nice chapter, it has Banjou saving the day in a most manly and awesome fashion. He really is deserving of that name... bwahaha.

Uncassandra Break 4

...and here we go, my first major release.

This series is really good, and I highly reccommend it... this chapter contains the first appearance of Banjou and Bekku's opponent, a fellow who is quite insane.

Much fun to be had all around.  o/

And many thanks to Page, for introducing me to this fine series and also doing the editing.  :>

Hibusou Shinki 0-10

This is the series that more or less started this group of mine...

It's a gag manga series about Konami's toyline "Busou Shinki." As such, a lot of the jokes might go over your heads... eheh.

After "Chapter Zero," my friend Morino began to offer his services in looking over my scripts before I edited in the text, as my English has slowly been deteriorating over time.

It's released one page a week and 10 is the most current one, so it might be a little while before I decide it's worth it to translate another batch of them.

Series what Zenigame needs help with...

I pretty much always need help with some series or other... here's a short list of the ones that I'm actively looking for typesetting-type editorness for.

If you're interested, email me at horobinomichi at gmail dot com.

Shiharu Genesis, by Kondoh Rururu

It's the happy fun-times moepocalypse story, but my editor for it seems to have vanished. As such, a new challenger is needed if I'm to continue with this series.

L-size Little Sister, by Yokoshima Takemaru

I haven't had much luck with this one... the fellows over at Sugooi seem to be having trouble or something, so a replacement editor's needed for the sister love story.

Gosick, by Sakuraba Kazuki and Amano Sakuya

This is the story of Kazuma, a Japanese boy who is going to a transfer school in the fictional European country of Sauveur during the early 1900s.

It's a nice mystery series, with very good art... magazine scans for the first two chapters are up on Share, but they dried up after that... however, I bought the volume for the sole purpose of having access to raws past that point.

But as always, I need an editor to actually do anything substantial. :/

滅びの道とは…

Essentially, Horobi no Michi is a scanlation group consisting of me (translator/master of creation) and whoever feels like typesetting or cleaning or editing or whatever because I usually don't feel like doing that stuff myself.  (and I only have Paint, so I'm kind of limited there.)

Basically, I'll translate something if it catches my eye and nobody else is working on it. If there's something you think I'll be interested in doing, feel free to tell me. You just might get lucky. Bwahaha.

I started out doing the gag manga "Hibusou Shinki" because I said I would if I ever got proper scans, and wound up branching out to Embalming because I got pissed that nobody had released anything for it in months.

And then I picked up a few other series because I'm stupid like that.

For those hoping to get me to translate something, my main interests are shounen/seinen fighting manga, cute moe things and mecha. I don't limit myself to just them, but those are my main three interests.

...and back to work for me. BRAVO!

Testing...

...nothing to see here...
