Nanatsuiro Drops 1

...first was angst, then erofoolishness, and now for something sweet and adorable and all that fun stuff.

Here's the first chapter of Nanatsuiro Drops, a joint with the folks over at Meow Scans.

I actually bought the LE version of the PS2 game back in the day(for the Sumomo figure, of course), but I've yet to actually play past the prologue... maybe translating this will give me some incentive to actually finish it.

I have to say, the sheer amount of text in this series, along with my having to look up Bible verses in Japanese to make sure I'm getting this stuff right, puts this series right behind Sugar wa Otoshigoro in terms of translating difficulty...

...but being able to go through Marcho's insane rants more than makes up for that, for he is awesome. Bwaha.

And a random note, Shiharu's family name of "Fudou" is a reference to Fudou Akira, who is more widely known as Devilman.

...holy crap, you guys.

...so I was checking the user stats like how I usually do when I'm bored...

...and it turns out that Tuesday got the most hits ever, with a total of 6,269. Like, holy crap.

To put this in perspective, the old max leveled out at somewhere around 4700 hits.

So yeah, thanks a ton to everyone who's made this blog as popular as it is. I'm still shocked by it, to be completely honest.

Anywho, more yuri is on the horizon, even if I have to buy the volumes and scan them in myself.

Just moving on along...

...here's the first chapter of Shiharu Genesis, the story of a little girl who is prophesied to bring about the End of Days. Bwahaha.

Anyways, it's cute and fun and whatnots. Many thanks to Serafer for the speedy editing job.

When I think about it, that's kind of a fitting name for someone working on this series...

...and in other news, the first stupid weekly poll thing's results are in... you can all thank a certain someone from a certain place for suggesting that I put up a poll to see who everyone's favorite character was.

For you see, Zenigame's eyes are everywhere. Bwahaha.


Anywho, Creo won it by a huge margin, with 205 votes. I guess that last chapter made people like her more or something... eh.

In second place was Kiki, with 70 votes. I am saddened that more people didn't recognize her inherent awesomeness. :<

Third was Suou, with 65 votes. I'm pretty surprised at this, but whatever.

Fourth was Akane, who got 51 votes. She's another one who got to show off recently, though I'm surprised that she didn't beat Suou...

Fifth was Urara, with 13 votes. Guess the sight of her derriere wasn't enough to win more votes...

Tied in fifth were Gemini and Cindy-sensei, who both got 8 votes. To be honest, I was rooting for Cindy to get more, but I suppose his bad luck strikes again.

Sixth was Ridda, who I thought was awesome... with 4 votes. I guess she'll need more screentime to win others over. :/

So in the meantime, the hero of justice Serena and her teammate/lackey/punching bag Souya have been using their powers to protect the weak and destroy evil wherever it looms its head...

...and when they're not doing that, Serena's trying to pick up chicks. And Souya's fiddling arond with his anime figures.

But with the sudden return of their childhood friend, things are in for a change...

...or maybe not.


Kano loves Serena, Hakase loves Serena and Kano, Serena loves all women... and Souya likes to watch. Yeah, this is action comedy manga, with heavy yuri overtones. I find it hilarious, but I'm also a huge toku fan, so...

This one's a goofy comedy with the occasion action scene. It's more cute than anything, and I like it a lot.

Watashi no Taisetsu na Tomodachi 1

...and here's something new, a series by Hakamada Mera.

As with most of her series, the main character's kind of out of it... it's still fun, though. This one's a monthly manga that runs in Web Comic High!, so there shouldn't be any AGHLONG waits between chapters like there are with most of the series I do.

...but I lack proper raws past the first chapter, so if some kind person could grab them off of Share or acquire them through some other method for me, that would be Super Appreciated.
